- The City of Canada banned all plastic straws, including:
- compostable plastics,
- biodegradable plastics, and
- PLA.
- Renouvo’s Zero Plastic Zero PLA Sugarcane Straws do not contain anything in the following list and therefore can be used in Vancouver.
- Most plant-based straws sold elsewhere on the Internet contains plastic or PLA. Those other straws are not allowed for restaurants in Vancouver.
- With our patented technology, Renouvo is the exclusive seller of sugarcane straws with ZERO plastic and ZERO PLA in Canada. You will not find this type of product anywhere else unless it is from our resellers or retailers who buys from us.
