WasteExpo was founded in 1968 by the National Waste & Recycling Association and is considered as the largest exhibition of waste disposal and environmental recycling in North America. Each year 544 million tons of solid waste have to be dealt with in the U.S., 68% (370M tons) of which are disposed of in landfills and 5% (29M tons) incinerated, only 27% of trash being recycled.
In this exhibition, Team 100%ZHI was honored to meet hundreds of North America’s leading corporations and professionals in the field of waste management and recycling industry. It was an enriching experience for us to take part in forums and dialogues.
